Motorcycle collection being slimmed down a bit as evidenced by no longer able to enter garage ( how did it come to this ) . So the Spitfire engined A10 has gone , and No 1 son is gearing up to take the Shovelhead . I am loathed to see e'm go but I have still got the 57 BB 33 a 56 pre unit T110 and a Unit Lightening . But the bane at the moment is a 67 Hornet with ET. Ing. So lots of fun when I can sort the ignition out ....Oh and High to all . R.

Post a photo when you can, I've still got a '68 Firebird, dressed as a Lightning.

You either get on with ET ignition or you don't and can never get it to work. If you are the latter either fit normal points or EI with a small battery or being braver a capacitor instead of the battery. Capacitors age so don't go NOS but buy a new one, originally it would have been 4700uF 35V but they are being sold as 10,000 uF High Output, 63V DC now. I went a bit bigger ;)

Thanks . I will not give up. Had a MK2 Spitfire back in the day , loved its looks until I saw the High pipes and the small tank Hornet, but they were export only . So I have lusted too long to give up now , and I am considering a more modern set up .
