I have a 1973 Norton Commando 750. I need to replace the clutch. Here is my question. There is 4 friction plates, 5 plain plates, 1 pressure plate. The order they are installed from inner to outer are,
1 friction plate, against the clutch basket surface
1 plain plate
1 friction plate
1 plain plate
1 friction plate
1 plain plate
1 friction plate
1 plain plate
1 plain plate
1 pressure plate.
Is this normal to have two plain plates and the pressure plates all together? What do I need to order? Same setup or different? The clutch was not fully disengaging and the friction disc are worn down.
