Try enlarging one of the through holes in the mask?

Yes, there should be a small aluminum ring.

When I got the mask and shell from Australia 2 of the 3 holes had the inserts missing. And replaced them using the original holes. I should have checked the alignment before I did so but silly me thought they would all be the same and see where assuming got me.
 
I just received my package from Andover today - a few odds and ends for the footrests. Still need things but who knows when shipping to USA will start again. Ugh !
 
There is little clarity over this tariff issue. I suspect that sales of bike parts accross the water will dry up and little progress will be made until you have a change of president.

NZ and I believe Aus have paused for the moment too. Presumably concern that the postal company’s will get stung for the tarrif and not be able to recover the cost.
 
Why is it always politics that have to screw up repairs for old bikes? Don’t we have enough problems already trying to keep them running?
 
Primary chain case and footrests done . Outer cover had disc welded in to fill hole over clutch. Also had to turn a new stud and make a new bail for the inspection cover .

Now need to order rims/spokes - I may wait a bit to see if the tariffs change . I wish I had ordered them before they axed the de minimus rule.
