Hey guys, been off the site for a while - good to be back. My beutiful Norton has thrown up another oddity I could do with your help with.
There has been so much rain up here on the Sunshine Coast I have’nt had the Norton out for week, but I’ve been a good boy and started it regularly. Went to do so last week, and when the engine was switched off the Tacho needle failed to return to zero, with the needle settling just below 1000 RPM. I started the engine again and although idling normally the RPM was showing 1000 RPM above the obvious idling speed. Turned off the engine and the needle settled back at just below 1000 RPM. WTF!
Any ideas guys.
Thanks.
