There is only a couple of reasons to return to a vendor who doesn't respect your business...

1.) They offer something you can't find anywhere else, in which case you are screwed and you better find a way to deal with the frustration, or even better find humor in it.

2.) They offer items at a price that is so low it is worth the added frustration. I find this is usually a losing game in the long run. One advantage of vintage motorcycles is that often the vendors are enthusiasts too and small businesses. This gives you the opportunity to connect with them on a different level than you will ever find at a big box store or similar web based business. This relationship should be cherrished because it is dying out of this world and I personally see it as my responsibility to keep as much of it alive as I can. There are a number of vendors (some of which belong to this forum) that I respect and will gladly spend money with based on that alone, even if it costs me a few more dollars.

Spend your money were it supports the kind of lifestyle you want. Businesses that do not adapt rapidly to a change in spending habits disappear. This is as it should be.
