Hello

I just purchased a 1972 Commando in need of tires. Seeing many positive posts about Avon AM26 tires. Are these designed for tubes? I always thought it was not good to run tubes in tires designed to be tubeless. I appreciate any info that could be provided. This site has already given me a wealth of information about my bike!

Thanks in advance,

Have about 40 miles on my Roadriders, could not be happier. The 100/90 x 19 size fits front and back perfectly, rides well, grips well, looks good. New tubes, and don't forget the "Tuffy" (spoke protection strip). Good luck!

What is the cost on those bad boys? I am also looking for a new set front and rear. Last fall I was quoted 100$/tire CND eh

I ordered mine online- I am pretty sure the total cost including shipping was under $200. Of course I then had to pay to have them mounted, cuz I didn't want to mess up something as critical as tires.
