This event is still on (for now)
But, they have basically turned it into a 2 day track day. the public are not allowed, there will be no village, which was a gathering of nutters (nice nutters) with outlandish machines on display, no band, no anything. They have cancelled the endurance race and the IHRO races that ran at the event too.
I have emailed them asking for my money back as it is no longer the event I signed up for, and there is no offer of a partial refund for the lack of entertainment that makes the bikers classic what it is.
I today received an email offering a voucher valid for the event next year by way of a refund. All very well and good if I intended doing it next year but DG Sports have already advertised that the Bikers Classic was going to be run every two years from this year on, and now my wife is wanting to go to Machu Picchu next year.
Do any of our Belgium members know if I can stick to my guns and ask for a refund and be backed up by Belgium law? as it stands, we are not allowed to travel so we couldn't get there anyway.
