I have many questions. I have the 2-piece brackets but no rubber pieces. I can use some oil line for the rubber mount. Does the rubber fit tightly on the oil tank or is it allowed to rotate? #2 The holes in the frame where the bracket mounts. These are 5/8'" od holes. are there rubber pieces that go in here?again I will have to mickey mouse temporarily but I have no exploded views to look at.
Many more questions to come.

The rubber tubes won't rotate once the clamps are in place. The tubes should be close fit without the clamps. If loose they will be destroyed from vibration. Not sure what you are talking about with the 5.8" holes. I have no recall of ever having to use any rubber in 5/8" holes.

The bracket has two bolts. The line up with two gig holes in the frame. It ends up being two 5/16 studs fitting in two 5/8 holes in the frame.

I will never touch another P11 again.

The P11 does get the creative juices flowing.

Both sets of brackets have two bolts. The oil tank would be extremely difficult to mount without the larger holes for some wiggle room. Only rubber used on my oil tank mount setup is the cut tubing on the little mounting bars.

I forgot how much fun the oil tank is to mount on a P11. Those brackets on the front are a pain to get into position. Also have to remember to install the top brackets loose first I think. Easier to do with the fuel tank, seat, rear fender, rear wheel, coils and carburetion removed.

My attitude about the P11 is different. Retired, and nobody breathing down my neck waiting for me to get anything done.

Fitting the oil tank needs a big pry bar . Two people with big pry bars would be better.
Solution...get it as close as possible and use two cable ties. I don't know how long this would last in operation.

Now that is an exaggeration I can get behind. I can do it alone and without a prybar, but it is one fiddly operation.

Factory documents for replacing aluminum tank with the steel tank. Page 1 part B is not necessary.

Factory documents for the P11 !! -> šŸ‘

Is there a compilation of factory documents one can purchase?

I put my P11 together without any documentation around '72-'73. Unfortunately it looks like that is what I did. šŸ¤£

No factory document compilation that I am aware of. I have a handful of factory or Berliner bulletins that I have collected over the last 45 years. There are factory parts listings (no drawings) for P11 and P11A, but none for the Ranger 750. There is a service manual that claims to cover P11 (along with G80 and G85) but it is pretty much useless.

Anthony Curzon claims to have an extensive collection of information.
