That's your career in politics out the window!!!!I think it'd be a bad idea
What I mean is where would it stop?
People come here because it called "accessnorton" catering for people with Nortons
Essentially classic Nortons but with modern Norton's aswel
It in addition caters
For triumph
BSA
Enfield
Vincent etc all British marks
You do get some hinkley triumph infiltration but not much
Why bring in a foreign make like Harley? Maybe add Ducati honda Kawasaki guzzi Suzuki Yamaha BMW etc etc aswel?
Or add in a "general" motorcycle section?
Nothing against Harley's or their riders but what's the need ?
Right I'm off to look at some Harley sites to see if I can find anything to help with a couple of issues I have with my BMW !That's your career in politics out the window!!!!
(Though you'd get my vote )
Tis a fair argument.I think it'd be a bad idea

NOT taking issue, here (it IS Jerry's baby after all, so the referee's decision WILL be final!), but in response to: 'Harleys are in a similar genre to old Brit 4 strokes' I do wonder how many here are mid '70's and older??Tis a fair argument.
But the reason I agree is that Harleys are in a similar genre to old Brit 4 strokes in many ways.
And, here are quite a number of Harley riders on this forum.
And finally, a lot of forum members really don’t like Harley’s, so one place for all the Harley stuff to be placed would save y’all from the pollution in other threads !
Well, of course modern ones are modern…!NOT taking issue, here (it IS Jerry's baby after all, so the referee's decision WILL be final!), but in response to: 'Harleys are in a similar genre to old Brit 4 strokes' I do wonder how many here are mid '70's and older??
I'm a very peripheral observer through having zero interest, but..... I always view most of them as a 'modern' (as in 'current') motorcycles, rather than 'old' bikes... generally speaking!
Waffle, waffle ad infinitum....
Ultimately it'd be Jerry's choice yesNOT taking issue, here (it IS Jerry's baby after all, so the referee's decision WILL be final!), but in response to: 'Harleys are in a similar genre to old Brit 4 strokes' I do wonder how many here are mid '70's and older??

Down here its quite rare to see a pre Evolution Harley on the road ...If Harleys are allowed it would be Dealers only, few USA Harley owners know how to change a sparking plug! IMHO I own 3 and do my own work because I'm cheap!

Ref British bike bias, surely that rules out the 961, KDs engine with far Eastern internals, in a British frame but, the rest, cherry picked from around the globe. How about a section for battery powered wheelchairs?
Harley, BMW, Ducati, Moto Guzzi, KTM, Husqvarna, ... that "ought to add" list could get really long. I'm not sure I care. However, the British bike bias does feel right for this site's intent.
Certainly, say that like Curly of the 3 stooges would say it.Ref British bike bias, surely that rules out the 961, KDs engine with far Eastern internals, in a British frame but, the rest, cherry picked from around the globe.
