Hi
Having some issues with the seat mounting. When the front mount is in place, the rear captive nuts are held away from the mudguard by some distance pieces located on the bottom of the seat pan, which sit on the crossbar of the frame. See photos.

So how to lower it? Is it supposed to be that far away from the frame at the front?
I am thinking I could cut away some of the bottom of the distance piece to allow it to drop down around the cross frame member. This would be in U shaped cutout to allow it to locate on the crossframe.
Other suggestions?
Wrong seat entirely? This what Walridge suggested.

Thanks

Hi.
Tomorow i will keep the photos of my seat and will send you.
But i have modified the stock steel seat: cutted the central edge where was the lateral holes to fit near the shock absorvers bolts.
I dont liked it.
I have welded a chrome hanger to fit rear the mudguard.

Update
Talked with Mike at Walridge. Seat needs a T shaped part which provides for the tang out the rear. This tang then fastens to a single bolt through the mudguard that has a domed nut to secure seat. Anyway this bike came to me with a non-stock seat and I had ordered a N15 replacement seat, the seat does not come with the mounting hardware. The two captive nuts under the seat at the rear are used to mount the T shaped tang. I will post photos once the parts have arrived.
Piero, your seat I think mounts at the front on the stud that holds the frame together and at the rear on two bolts on the side of the seat.
A customers G15 has a seat like this. It is an earlier model.

Hi.
Yes.
I dont like my seat that i think it is the later and not the early that i have and is much better.
Please send me a picture of your seat from Walridge.
Piero
