N15 center stand spring installation

ok, anyone have any idea's how to install this spring?
Is it true the one end goes into the hole in the gearbox mount plate and the other end around the cross bar in the stand?
Can't seem to find a way to tension the spring and get it into the hole.
Any tricks for this?

The way you have the spring mounted on the centerstand in your other thread is correct.

Yes, it is a PITA to mount in that hole. I used one of the car brake spring tools to get the spring mounted.
