Hi, I've found a Commader MK3 from 73 and I'm going to start to restore it, I'm from Valencia in Spain. I will keep you informed of the evolution.
Regards or everybody.

Welcome, and I look forward to reading about your updates. Also, pictures are great, we love to see the progress too! Cj

Javier, congratulations on your acquisition and upcoming project.

Be warned... You WILL encounter numerous problems...

But rest assured, this forum WILL help you resolve them all...!

Welcome, Javi.

A few of the first things you will learn about your bike is that it is a Commando, and either a 73 model OR a Mk III, but not both. MkIII was a '75 only model, the last of all when Norton stopped production. Easy to spot, the MkIII was also the only year for electric start and left-foot shift.

You can paste a link to a photo of your bike from anywhere on the internet, there are several free photo hosting sites.

Keep trying.... You can do it!! All joking aside, it will help you out later on, when you have a question about something or other.

I use www.picturetrail.com to host my photos. I started with a free account, but now have many years of photos stored, and I pay like $80 / year. Most people do fine with a free account.

Once you upload your photos, open a 2nd tab in windows, one for this site, and another for picturetrail. Select your photo, right click on it and "copy image address", then click on the photo icon above this forum's text input box and paste the address in the box.

Done!

One question, I have accidentally drilled one of the three screws that hold the stock with the chassis, see photo. I do not know where I wounded with the drill. I have done tests blowing cigarette smoke with a tube and it does not come out either from the cavity of the rockers or through the hole in the oil tube of the grease fitting that comes from the pump.
I think that when I make the new thread and I put the new screw it will be sealed. Do you think the same...._

Javi, you are doing something incorrectly when inserting the photo addresses, as they don't seem to be displaying (at least not to my computer)

When you right-click on picturetrail image, do not select "copy image", instead select "copy image ADDRESS".

I still cannot see the photos, just a small icon and [ IMG ].

Before you hit enter, it should say [ / IMG ], so it is missing the /

I typed the above with spaces between brackets and letters, but should have no spaces.

Yes, that is definitely the problem. If you click "edit" at the bottom of your post, then add the / in the bracket after the address of the photo, that should fix it.

If edit does not show you the address of the photo you posted, you will have to re-copy it in there.

Not sure why you are having this trouble...
