Weird. I have only one experience with EPCO, but it was a good one. Bought a pair of their "sport" mufflers - i.e., Norton peashooters - but for an airhead Beemer, not my Commando. Spoke to Tom, ordered the pipes, they showed up fairly quickly, and installed perfectly. They look and sound great and I've been very pleased with them. Thinking about getting another pair for a Loopframe Guzzi - saving my pennies.
