Ever since Jerry put the cap on "Donald Trump seems....." I've found the pub a little boring. I've never chimed in myself but start my day with a cup of coffee and Access Norton. I'm starting to miss the banter on Trump, Hillary, Brexit and such.
The people in those buildings share a belief, the problems arise when people disagree on the “correct” religion! While I agree 100% with Slick , you don’t have to look hard on a Sunday morning to find buildings full of folks who think otherwise .... lots of religion in those buildings too !! besides the politics
Yes, this is exactly what I miss, different opinions. Not just Trump but different countries. I've had to google what's a Pommy what's a REGO what's a MOT. The only pub I've ever been to is "Lucky Baldwins" in Pasadena, which probably doesn't count. But this section is called the "Pub" and even on Norton night I never heard anyone discussing the booboo they got while wrenching their Norton. Just my opinion, I could be wrong. We tend to be honest on our forums about our bikes, cars, family etc but when politics is involved and if its coming out of a politians mouth then it all goes down hill from there, so many lies and untrufts, we here in Aussie land are going to the polls in a few weeks and both major parties are tiring to win us over with more money in our pockets and for everything and some promises that were made last election that was never met and repromises etc, and of course who ever wins will break a lot of those promises, everyone is getting sick of it as its all about the party and not the people, and of course they are so good at it that they now lie to the people and they believe in themselfs even when caught out, so really its a wise move to curtail any politics from our forums and everyone will have a different opinion on any politics.

I vote for EGG BOY !We tend to be honest on our forums about our bikes, cars, family etc but when politics is involved and if its coming out of a politians mouth then it all goes down hill from there, so many lies and untrufts, we here in Aussie land are going to the polls in a few weeks and both major parties are tiring to win us over with more money in our pockets and for everything and some promises that were made last election that was never met and repromises etc, and of course who ever wins will break a lot of those promises, everyone is getting sick of it as its all about the party and not the people, and of course they are so good at it that they now lie to the people and they believe in themselfs even when caught out, so really its a wise move to curtail any politics from our forums and everyone will have a different opinion on any politics.

I just hope the "rethink" doesn't get him a second term. He's far and away (IMO) the worst President in the 51 years we've lived in the US since emigrating from the UK.
^^ and here is the problem with debates like this. We get people posting their "I don't like him, so he's far and away the worst" statements. How much you dislike someone doesn't make them bad at the job they are doing, nor would how much you like a person make them good at their job...
Discuss their policies and the results, discuss the relative benefits and shortcomings of their policies, but discussing how YOU feel is not a metric by which any president should be judged. A real criticism says, Policy "A" is wrong because..., and I think Policy "B" is a better idea... Tell us why he's WRONG, not how you feel.
To put it in Norton terms, it would be like saying that Jim Comstock, Jim Schmidt, or Dyno Dave's norton work with commandos wasn't any good because I don't like any of them... Is my dislike a valid criticism? A: Of course not... (btw, all those guys are awesome. They've all helped me with my commando. The above comment is an example)
