I purchased my 1969 Triumph Trophy motorcycle while station in Iceland. When to Sweden to register it so could be shipped back to the USA as a used motorcycle. At that time had a 1966 Triumph Spitfire car. Both of my set of keys were wilmot breeden keys stamped UNION. I am in the British car hobby and cut keys to code. I recently got 2 Norton motorcycle guys who lost their keys and ask my suggestions.

For British car owners, I have a pre-cut ring of FP keys with number range 626-750 and FS keys with number range 876-955 that I can send to owner in USA to determine the correct key code numbers. One Norton owner knew his key code for the Fork lock, EJR ## but he also had a 2nd motorcycle with a after market American key. Based on the photo of the key and a tracing of the blank believed I could match up the correct key code based on the cut. I looked thru my set of EJR keys, number range 01-50 and could not determine the correct key code number.

For the British car owners, can get a key code number from the UK for 5 pounds. The Jaguar car owners with proof of car ownership have a contact that will provide the key code number to the car owner. I was at s British motorcycle flea market and a 1951 Sunbeam motorcycle owner had his key code stamped on the lock insert, MRN ##. Looking for suggestions and sources for key information. Would be wise for this info to not be put on a public forum like this ?

Somewhere I noticed that the key for a Ford glove compartment would start my Commando...
