Introduction (V4 owner)

Great to have you with us; it is a fabulous machine and we look forward to hearing more about it. I imagine by now you know about the tradition in the forum of inviting everyone round for a test ride......

(all traditions have to start at some point)

Hello Gizmo , I hope you love your new V4 and get lots of trouble free , enjoyable miles of riding. I appreciate your sharing this experience with us , as many of us will never even see one in real life.

Ditto.

Sorry to be cheeky, but could you tell me how your sidestand retracts ie is it's motion cushioned with a bump stop or something? I desperately need to find a solution to the horrendous sound that comes from the V4SS models when you flick the sidestand up. This is just a gentle flick in the video, but when retracting it from being parked up, it very loudly strikes the carbon.

Interesting as I've not noticed an issue with this. Let me take a look in the morning and I will report back.

@Stu Bodycote there are a couple of rubber stops there to prevent the stand hitting the fairing:

Nice one, cheers chap! This is basically all I could think of doing too....just wondered if they had changed the fairing etc, but it looks pretty much the same, which is great news for me. Thanks again!
