Good morning to you all,

Having lurked for some time I thought I better join up and introduce myself. I got my Norton V4SV in carbon back on 26th May and it has just had it's running in service after 500 miles, which I fortunately managed to get in mainly before it rained all July! I've had the suspension softened off as I felt it was set up too hard from the factory but other than that I'm delighted with the bike.

So far I am really enjoying the ownership experience and getting positive responses from everyone that sees it and wants to talk about it. I'm looking forward to opening it up properly as the miles rise. There are a couple of quirks with the bike, but I was expecting that to be honest (needs a clutch lever adjuster, sidestand hard to use with boots on both of which I noted when I had a test ride back in November 2022) but nothing to spoil the overall package. The bike goes, and stops brilliantly and makes a fantastic noise. I do have to get a tail tidy soon though as the current number plate mounting solution isn't very visually appealing.

I have to say a massive thank you to the new Norton for honouring my order for a V4SS and providing the bike that they promised, for which I will always be very grateful.

I was going to add a couple of pictures, but I can't figure out how to just yet.

Welcome aboard, and great to hear from a TVS era owner.
For photos if you sign up for VIP you can post direct otherwise you need to link from a third party hosting site.

Welcome Gizmo750. Great to hear you are happy with it:):):)

Welcome aboard, we've all been waiting for an actual V4 owner to chime in.
I guess this means we will be seeing a new V4 section on the forum, no?:)

Apparently mine is still the only V4 on the road (2nd one out of the factory), at least until later this month when more are due to go to owners
A journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step.

Oh, nice.....I wasn't aware of any actually getting to owners yet!
I've got a V4SS in for work at present, in JPS colours.

Beautiful machine - congrats. You got the option for the open, side facing exhaust - much better looking IMO!

Enjoy, and please stick around to show us your journey.

The outside is beautiful! Take those covers off and let us see the important stuff!
