Hi can someone tell me what the stock Atlas carb manifold looks like and how thick it is? My Atlas came with 30 mm Concentrics and finned spacers ( manifolds) that are bored for 28mm . Using the stock 5/16 BSW mounting studs, there is something like 12 mm of heat insulators required to position the carbs properly so that the fastening nuts tighten up. I don’t see insulators or manifold gaskets that are even close to this thickness. My finned spacers are 1” thick. Thanks

If my memory is good , thin spacer for concentric (1") , thick for monobloc (1.5") , so for 1967 and thus concentric your finned spacer are good ?
the studs full lenght should be 2 " 5/16...

Ok thanks. So one heat insulator between the head and spacer, and then just the concentric O ring up against the other end of the spacer? The 28 mm bore size of the spacer isn’t a problem given the 30mm bore of the carb?

Yes about the o ring and insulator, about the 28mm spacer , you can leave it or try to champher the inner entrance facing the carb , but if not some may said it add some turbulences effect which is not bad ???
