The Access Norton Showcase Gallery is a place for members to share motorcycles they own and want to feature on the site. Anyone can browse the Showcase Gallery and view motorcycles that have been submitted, but only FULL MEMBERS can submit motorcycles. Limiting submissions helps reduce spam and keeps Showcase uploads tied to established Access Norton members. If you are not currently a FULL MEMBER, you can upgrade your account before submitting a motorcycle.
To add your motorcycle, visit the Showcase Gallery and click Submit your Motorcycle. You will be asked to choose whether the motorcycle is Classic or Modern, select the Make, enter the Model, optionally enter the Year, and upload one main photo. The Model field is required. Choose the Make category that best matches your motorcycle. If your make is not listed, use Other Makes.
All Showcase submissions are manually reviewed by an administrator before they appear in the Gallery. After submitting, you will see a confirmation that your motorcycle is awaiting approval. You will receive an email when your submission has been approved. If a submission is rejected, you will receive an email explaining the reason.
Once approved, your motorcycle will appear in the Showcase Gallery using the photo you submitted. Each Showcase card displays the motorcycle's Make - Model, and visitors can click the image to view a larger version.
After your motorcycle has been approved, you can optionally create a discussion thread for it. If your Showcase does not yet have a discussion thread, you will see a Start Thread option. Only the owner of the Showcase motorcycle, or site staff, can start its discussion thread. When you click Start Thread, Access Norton automatically creates a discussion thread for your motorcycle in the Showcase Bikes forum and places the Showcase photo at the top of the first post.
Once the discussion thread exists, Start Thread changes to Visit Thread. Everyone who can access the forum can then visit the thread and participate in the discussion. The motorcycle owner can use the thread to add more photos, additional information about the motorcycle, modifications, history, riding experiences, or future updates. Other members can reply, ask questions, and discuss the motorcycle normally.
New Showcase discussion threads are created through the Start Thread option on an approved Showcase motorcycle rather than directly inside the Showcase Bikes forum. This keeps every discussion connected to an actual motorcycle in the Gallery and helps prevent duplicate or unrelated Showcase threads.
Deleting a Showcase discussion thread does not delete the motorcycle from the Showcase Gallery. If the discussion thread is deleted, the Showcase owner will see Start Thread again and can create a new discussion thread later.
Showcase entries are managed separately from their discussion threads. Site administrators can permanently remove a Showcase entry and its associated Showcase image when necessary.
Visit the Classic Motorcycle Showcase Gallery to browse member motorcycles or submit your own. If you are a FULL MEMBER, click Submit your Motorcycle to begin. If you are not yet a FULL MEMBER, you can view membership options and upgrade your account.
