It took me a while to learn who had the good Norton parts as opposed to the average junk, I can get just about anything for my 68 441 from a local guy but he allways has the repro after market cheapo stuff. Who is the BSA equivilant to Old Britts ???

Domiracer has some NOS parts but you don't know until they turn up, you are about to find out that BSA's are not as well catered for as Nortons, for all the valid criticism that Andover Norton cannot be really making Genuine parts as most of the original makers are long gone at least they have kept the standards higher on Norton Commando parts and I use them for that reason. For my 441 I tend to try for NOS off evilbay first or good secondhand before resorting to new copies.

JRC resellers & British Only both carry SOME good quality parts as well as the typical repro stuff. You have to ask.

EV engineering.
The guy's name is ED and he KNOWS 441's.
He is also a good guy who if he doesn't have it in stock, can tell you who does.

(also, even if it isn't listed on his site, he probably still has it. email him with your needs)

Thanks guys, I forgot about SRM. I ask them a long time ago why they don't make a oil pump for Nortons like they do for so many other bikes and considering the cronic wet-sump problem I thought for sure they would but the reply said they didn't think there was enough need to make it worth making them... I humbley ask that each of us contact SRM asking them to make one. I'm sure they could sell many if it would stop the wet sumping. Hit them up at srm@srmclassicbikes.com

another thing to remember when ordering parts be specific with your request........ecomony aftermarket parts or NOS. because there are better quality economy parts out there too. Just ask ...............

I have placed 2 orders with SRM, both had incorrect parts, one was a set of spokes the wrong gauge and the second was a set of drum brake cams with the grease holes missing. I won't be ordering again.

Historically, the wholesaler MCA Aston in Birmingham (UK) have probably supplied the biggest range of BSA parts. I believe the owner used to work for BSA. Trade only though.
