Same principal. I put an oil gauge on and took it off. Oil still goes through the motor and back into the oil tank. Say halleluiah
I solved my Norton electrical gremlins, but the way I did it wouldn't do a Commando owner any good. The niggly intermittent stuff was all ground related. That's about all that might be relevant.
My LifePO4 battery resting voltage is 13.6 after sitting 3 weeks max between DVM checks so far. Idling voltage is 14.4-14.5. Stays at that voltage at higher RPM. I get a .16 voltage drop when I turn on the ignition and lights when the motor is not running.
