I knew they could get pricey. I bought my leather jacket on ebay a long, long time ago. Too hot for summer though. Some of these offering are really nice...and you pay for it too.

Some of the modern technical mesh type gear is amazing.
My leather jacket is over 25 years old, so fits me like a glove, but feels very second rate
compared to my textile gear.
I’ve got a mesh jacket and it transforms riding in hot weather, especially when worn with a wicking t shirt underneath.
I’ve also got a mid jacket called a Rukka Raymond, it’s very breathable but not full mesh.
And I’ve got full on winter gear.
Spending money on good riding gear is a no brainer IMO. The comfort transforms your riding, and the protection is priceless, especially so as we age and bounce less well and take longer to recover.

I got over 30+years out of my first leather jacket brough new a week after buying my Norton new in 1976 at 17 years old paid $75 for the new Leather jacket at the time, wore it right out the new replacement is only 15 years old but I finally also bought a vented jacket for our summer heat.
Pic of my old and a pic of the new, the replacement new one is showing it's age already and cost $400, when I brought my first leather jacket I was 9 stone nothing and brought it 2 sizes bigger took me about 20 years to grow into it lol, it hangs in my shed proudly, saved me a few times in my hoon days, I think I got my money worth out of it lol.
