After seeing this post on the Solvang Motorcycle Museum I put it on my list of things to do. We are currently on a vacation through California and I made sure to stop, also possible since I was the one driving.

I didn't have much time (about an hour) so I went through and filmed as many bikes as I could. This amazing collection is filled with some extremely rare bikes. And while some collections have a couple immensely collectable bikes, this museum has one after another. If you are on the West Coast you have to make this a destination. An added bonus is that the wife was entertained with Solvang. Win-win.

Thanks for that Dave, lets some of us see what we never would otherwise.

It was thanks to you that I found out about this place. If you are a fan of historic race bikes you especially want to put this place on your list.

I met a guy there who lives nearby but had just heard of the museum. He has a couple MkIIIs so I made sure he knew about this forum. Doing my best to spread the word.

Don't know where you are Sunday, it's the Hanson Dam ride.

It's huge.

Jay Leno usually brings someting cool, last year was a Vincent, Kenny Dreer sometimes,
David Edwards usually, Allan Girdler with his Red, White Blue street legal XR750.
Don't have to ride. Check out the bikes between 8:00 - 10:00am

Family has me out of town this weekend or I would be there.
