Howdy all,
Last weekend I attended A Seniors day here in S.A. for old guys and old bikes.
These two old stagers Jim Scaysbrook #35 (left) and Rod Tingate #86 (right) showed us all just how fast A Norton Manx can go.
Just to prove a point, at the end of the day they competed against all types upto 650cc including 600 Sports bikes and were never headed,
winning and coming second by 1/3 of a lap.
Of course there were Matchies and Beesas...
A Jap and a Douglas...
And a 1914 AJS with a 1928 rider
The NOISY part of the day was the warm up for the 18,500 rpm HONDA 250s
Oh yeah there were a couple of rough old Dukes...
And a lovely little Villiers...
Hope you enjoyed it as much as I did...AC.
