Progressive or regressive ?

I find a particular suggestion quite bemusing - the suggestion that if Biden becomes President of the USA, he will be stopped from becoming progressive. A lot of things have to do with mindset. If we don't move forwards , we move backwards. I love a nostalgia kick, but my whole professional life as a scientist has been about developing and improving systems and products. Simply exploiting the status quo is regressive.
