Liquid Gold ...

Brilliant whisky that was wonderfully complex ! My 1st experience nosing was that of a leather tannery, while my 1st taste was a strong peaty smoke explosion of flavors and the Sea. I found that 1st taste almost overpowering -and like the magic it is -it only got smoother by the sip.. Great fond memories of this one.. A1

Wow....... how can you describe THAT taste.

I can't even begin to describe. It's smells vile. And as for the taste. Wow. Boot wash or sheep dip is probably my closest description. Absolutely awful I've drank many drinks but wow this takes the biscuit for the worst thing I've ever tasted. Never again. I can still taste it after 2 other drinks after !

La Frogue is drinkable and tastes about like it smells.

Never tried that Peat Monster stuff, but if a Scotsman is calling it a Peat Monster it must be kind of tuff to swallow the first 3 shots. The 4th shot might go down pretty easy. I quit drinking cuz that is my kind of thinking.
