"NORTONA" is back at Daytona Bike Week 2022, THURSDAY 3/10/22

Below is a note from Larry Anderson, President of GANOA

From The Prez
Come to NORTONA; We are setting up our 37th annual Norton celebration
on Thursday, 10 March at the Betty Steflik Memorial Preserve in Flagler Beach. A
very nice lunch, beverages, and T-shirts are planned for your enjoyment. Bring your
Norton, either riding or on the trailer (there is plenty of room) and enjoy an after-
noon of great bikes and conversation. We'll be outside so we should be able to
keep the Covid at bay. After we conclude our afternoon festivities, we can ride or
drive to Barberville to see the AMA pro riders take on the half mile at Volusia Coun
ty Speedway Park. An AMA American Flat Track program is also set for Friday, 11
March, as well. On Saturday, the Daytona 200 will be held at the speedway. Should
be a fun weekend.

There will also be Door Prizes!
Hope to see many of you there!

Last year was my last as we have moved to Ne Tn in the mountains. Also building our house so not a lot of time to go places.

Congratulations on your move. If you need to take a break from building your house, BIBR, British in the Blue Ridge is closer, June 24 & 25, Hiawassee, GA

It is a great event! Lots Norton talking and bikes to admire. I printed the group pictures from 2019 and 2009, everyone should get a kick out of it. I'll also be bringing the 2019 pictures and a couple of NORTONA items for door prizes. Hope to see you there.

Despite the weather forecast we had a great turnout. So many friends from the past and new ones showed up. The weather gave us a break so lots could ride to the event. Then just a we were finishing the luncheon, we had a CAPTIVE audience, the RAIN came, perfect timing :) There were enough Door Prizes, everyone got something. A side raffle of a NORTON chair to help support the next "Turn 6" event was won by John Prosser. Hope to see everyone again soon! A few photo's attached. If any of the attendee's have any photo's, please send them to me. Thanks, Maggie
