Could somebody give me the centre's of the inlet port's and stud centre's for a Norton dominator please? I have a twin carb splayed inlet manifold that i think is from a dommi , many thanks baz
thanks for the info, the port centers on my manifold are 1 3/4" and the stud centers vertical are 1 7/8" so maybe not norton a mate suggested its from a royal enfield cheers baz
Could be (Enfield). Whatever, ports are too close together to be dommie, even the earliest model.
Curious...
Nortons called their parallel twin from 1949 a Dominator,
so they at least knew what a dommie was.
Maybe they thought they had outgrown that name,
and started calling things Manxman and 650SS and Atlas...
Hmmmm may have to put this in the royal Enfield section to see if anyone recognises it! There's one on eBay at the moment in the us that says it's from an Enfield and last week one sold in the uk that said it was from a dommi !! Cheers

Once in a while I buy something off ebay. If the guy can take a few good pictures, a good buyer can get it knowing what it is, despite the seller not having a clue of what it is. Good deals like getting a 650SS head sold as a 750 commando for $75 with rockers. I got my first M7 engine off ebay complete with mag but no generator for $70 +shipping.
