I just got finished installing this K&G rack from the 80’s. I used one of their NOS installation kits from a Honda and had to fabricate nothing. I think it works (and looks) a treat! Very pleased with the outcome. https://pin.it/4LdKOuY

Nice rack! You could put a top box on that. Is it connected to the fame loop where the rack and struts join?

Nice Rack!

TBH, I think this rack is lacking support at the rear, on the potholed and bumpy roads around here, it wouldn't last 6 months with a large top box and my twice weekly shopping inside it.
Unless, of course it's built like the Forth Rail bridge, which is also built out of steel tubing. . .

In the mid 70's, they'd have made you install a 6" tail light extender...

Judging from the young lady’s place of employment, bar-end missions are appropriate. Hooters Is it?

You know you're getting old when you, A) notice the elastic strap from the muffler mount up to the rear of the seat, and, B) wonder what it is there there for.
I do appreciate the nice rack though!
Bungie cords to hold my camera bag.

Where joo get it?
It was an eBay item. Made by K&G engineering in Woonsocket RI in the early 80’s. They are modular in that they fit just about any bike with the right Omni mount kit. I used kit K-107 and only had to supply the correct fasteners and a couple spacers. One just recently sold for 150 bucks including shipping. They’re getting kind of rare these days. They fit and work very well, IMHO!

I had that exact rack on my Fastback in the 70s. Of course I worked for KG at the time and fitting was no problem.
