Ludicrous $29,500 e-scooter built by F1 engineers to rip at 100 mph

You know this shit is sick. In the Peoples Republic of New Germany aka New Jersey, USA, people under the age of 17 are required to wear a helmet while riding a BICYCLE.

Mandatory helmet laws for motorcycles no matter what age. You have to be 17, licensed, and register, insure your gas powered vehicle.

With the influx of all this electric powered BS, these knuckleheads drive scooters, bikes and all kinds of stuff without helmets or lighting on their ride.

They don't even follow the traffic patterns. Cops don't do anything! The electric scooters and bikes are most likely uninsured. I'm sure if I drove without a helmet on my MOTORCYCLE I would be pulled and have my MC impounded.......Unfuckingbelievable.

They are 10 times worse than the homo's who ride the side of the road wearing their wife's panty hose.
 
You don’t need a motorcycle license here in the Garden State for gas powered bikes under 50 cc. I agree with your assessment of the electric bike mess . Couple that confusion with a population that increases from a year round number of 11 k or so to 250 k on Fourth of July weekend with no increase in Police and first responders- services and people get stressed to the breaking point. Life in seashore resort .
 
I would never set a foot on that thing much less try to ride it at any level of speed....those tires/wheels are way to small.
One pebble and you're eating pavement.
A bunch of gearhead engineers must have had some fun putting it together though.
E vehicles getting a pass on the same requirements ICE vehicles must follow is faltering around here.
The politicians figured out it's an untapped income source.

Other than the 1st and last sentences, variations of this post (several dozen variations) appear in our homeowner fecebook group weekly.

The e-bike / e-scooter craze is a real mess. Some of those things are deadly fast, then they "amp 'em up" with zip kits...
