Unlikely unless you know better

I saw it when we went into Mathewsons shop and museum, although the museum was closed and so I bought a load of tat. It is where the TV series Bangers and Cash gets filmed. Yes clearly it’s a wooden mock-up (cock-up or f+ck-up you decide) but it was the hinged covers that made me laugh.

Love the hinged (bevel?) covers.
A bevel drive would require the horizontal shaft to be placed much higher. The head model reminds me of a G50.
Ridiculous valve gear lubrication (mockup)!
Wood is nicely masked - I couldn't detect any traces of wood grain.

Love the door hinges on the bevel covers, nice redneck touch.
Kinda what you would expect if a fake Harley, fake Ducati, and fake Norton all collided together, and came together to form a third mutant type.....
Harducton.

Probably placed lower to accommodate the bamboo bevel drive shaft starting to grow.

Recommended lubricant = Danish oil

Mighty rare beast indeed.
Single barrel carb with two float chambers, I guess three would have been overkill.

I liked the safety wire hose clamps on the rocker lube tubes...or likely picture hanging wire!

Bikes & Beards come to mind.

Here's what happens when a Knucklehead Hog and a BMW have a love child.

Cool, but watch where you put your hands and fingers.

Someone put a lot of effort into the wooden Norton engine, really interesting piece of sculpture?
