Help me install this spring?

I was given this rear brake lever spring to stop the lever from falling if the cable ever lets go,

Someone have a picture or tell me exactly what it attaches to, and how?

Sorry if it seems obvious to you, it does not to me!

I'd never seen that until tonight.

I have one and I like it a lot. Not only does it give peace of mind regarding a broken brake cable (or more commonly, when the brake adjust nut vibrates off!), but it also adds a bit of return tension and helps ensure that the brake light switch shuts off. Before I added the spring I was always lifting the lever with my toe to shut the light off.
