That photo was taken in the UK.. there is another A4 in the background
what prompted my disappointment and anguish was the state ofthe running gear .. It showed all the corrosion that might be expected from being left outside exposed to the elements for 70 years. Despite heroic UK restoration the valve gear and connecting rods still bore witness to the effect of sheer laziness. Would ithave been so difficult to apply some grease for protection. None of the other surviving A4s showed signs of such ill treatment.
