Drum brake reinforcing kit- short stud peening tool

Getting ready to install the reinforcing kit for front drum brake. Will have to have the tapered drift made or can anyone tell how they did it without the tool? Or could loan the tool?

I turned one of these on my lathe and used my hydraulic press. This is from the Old Britts website.
