Is that you :?: It is interesting to note the ET and terminal speed, 12.56 @ 101.13 for a business like Norton (built for drags) and compare that to the one Cycle tested in the first superbike shootout which was 12.69 @ 103.68 From the article, even if the Norton was very stock looking, it had been very well prepared. When I took my Commando to the dragstrip, the best time I did was 13.995, very happy to get below 14 seconds on a bone stock bike riddent by a green rider. My terminal speed was 91 mph on that run and I did 93.26 on a slower run. I only did 3 runs because the gearbox broke on the last run, I was still able to get back home with that broken gearbox riding slowly on secondary roads, I didn't have enough money to burn so that cooled my drag racing days.
