Dale Walksler owner of "Wheels Through Time Motorcycle Museum" passed away yesterday February 3. Although his collection was almost entirely American motorcycles, it was well displayed and a fun place to visit in western North Carolina. I'm sure it will continue to operate for years to come. RIP Dale.

Nooooooooooooooooooooooooo..........................................
Losing too MANY!!!!!!!

I had the pleasure to visit one year on the ride to Barber. Just a fantastic collection of old bikes.

Sorry to hear. Nothing like going somewhere special and the owner greeting you at the door!!! He loved motorcycles and enjoyed the visitors. I'll never forget my visit

damn! Dale was a truly nice guy who loved what he did. I was there about 15 years ago with two other riders, got there first thing in the morning and Dale was unloading a HD 45 powered military generator set. We gave him a hand in with it and he handed us each a brand new old stock HD piston, still in the box, marked US govt. He had found a whole stash of them somewhere and they were part of the display. After we looked around a bit he gave us a personal tour including starting up his Crocker and a look into his restoration shop. He went as far as to let me sit on one of Evil Knievel's bikes he was getting ready to display....and none of us had a camera. The piston has sat on my "trophy" shelf ever since unopened..

While I have never made it to his shop , certainly admired Dale , he was a true searcher and lover of old stuff .... always enjoyed his show on television ..... RIP DW
