Commando LR model specifications

Some ended up that way , anyway .

What remains of the factory records we have access to are not entirely accurate.
I have a combat commando still with its original frame ID plate, number 202914 dec/71, if you check the list of models and numbers, that does not tie in with the records.

Or, possibly that we do not (yet) understand their system (if they actually had one)?

What information do you have for 202914?

Yes, which list of models and number?

Its interesting to note on those pages of factory dispatch records linked to that the quite low +200,000 serial numbers
were mostly dispatched in Jan 72 or later, bar a few that were in late Dec 71.

And also quite a few gaps in the records - not recorded or not made ??

Be informative to hear from someone that worked there back then how they operated,
vis-a-vis making, numbering and stockpiling (?) bikes before the Jan 72 announcement of the 1972 models.
