Nice cover photo with feature on Ducati Bevel Desmo 900SSD of early/mid ‘70s …. Then inside Frank W. does a great write up on early Norton Commando , very nice Yellow 750S is prominent …. Enjoy !

True , not what he talking bout in this most recent piece !

I think I would rather have a bevel Ducati. My mate who just died had a green frame 750. He fitted an ignition system off a VT750 Honda, and got it to advance an retard properly. The bike was much better.

Air cooled , bevel , Desmo are hard to find , even more difficult to pay for …. price continues in the upward direction ….

They were never cheap. The Paul Smart Imola Ducati 750 was here in Australia, and Ken Blake rode it. My mate had it in the 80s and sold it to someone in Western Australia for about $3000. A couple of Brits arrrived chasing it. It ended up in the Museum in Bologna. They got a lot more than $3000 for it.
You can still buy a very nice modern Ducati for about $8000 in Australia.
