Checking timing marks

Well I checked the timing marks and they were spot on. At least that is ruled out. Now to keep on looking.
Thanks for all the replies I appreciate your help. I’ll set the timing with a light and tune the carbs and see how it goes.

Hobot already gave you a good list.. Summarized:
Crappy fuel
Boyer trigger wires
cam chain tension
Hot wire to Boyer
Poor ground connections
Incorrect float level

I wd add to those: poor charging system performance / weak battery.
