How many nortons did you see?
Girl on triumph likes to "see" herself?
Not that I'm bring up a specific political position but this sounds like the theme song for this years election?
LOL- not

1 Norton, 1 Triton, any advance?

Just in case anyone is thinking otherwise, that’s not the proper video for the song. Probably just something ‘arty’ created by a YouTuber.

Yep - you’d just ride your bike into a paddock (field?) lay it on the ground (no sidestand?) then lounge back on its exhaust pipes (asbestos arms?).
Shit - if I had a girlfriend with a filthy look like hers, I’d probably do that too!

The only proper part being the bikes, not a weathered jacket or stained and scarred hand in sight. Posers not bikers.

True!
I was impressed by the version I first saw and repeated it many times. I needed that to eventually understand the words. Even better when I found the "lyrics" version.
The whole main impact for me is completed by 1:59. The remainder is also meaningfull to me.

When I was 15, my mother came home from work to occupy her death bed due to cancer.
The motorcycle connection is that while she succumbed to her illness, my parents said as long as I lived in their house I would no be allowed to have a motorcycle. Specifically, they were NOT willing to risk taking care of a paraplegic son from a motorcycle accident. (understandable!) A friend of mine under went this exact fate from a MC...
So due to the vietnam war, I was Nixon drafted into the military. I was now a charge of the US Air Force . Voila I got my new 1970 Norton commando roadster.
That is the tie in for me for the "road to hell"....and the motorcycle version.
Make me wonder if my Canadian parents (at my birth) bestowed Canadian citizenship on me would have changed my life for the better?
I'll never know

Not necessarily the point I was gona make.

Yes I had bought a norton (1970 roadster)
The "roadway to hell" seemed a rather personally appropriate description of the world around me .
