According to my Smiths list, RSM 3003/06 was fitted to various 1965-69 BSA B44, A50 and A65 models.
RSM 3003/00 (8,000 RPM, 2:1 clockwise drive) for 1968 N15, N15CS, 650SS, Atlas, 1969 Mercury and P11A Ranger with a BG 1508/05 1:1 reversing drive gearbox.

If I have worked it out correctly, a 3:1 rev counter connected to a 2:1 drive would read 50% fast.
