I just found out that the cover I have is a repro. And not a very good one.

Hello all,
Does anyone know whether there were differently shaped lids and or boxes for the G15 over the years? I have two inner boxes that are shaped identically. I have a lid that looks correct until I try to fit it to the box. Then it is apparent that the shape is different enough that there doesn't appear to be any way of coaxing it to fit.
Any thoughts?
