N15 front engine mounting plates

Hi.
Seems to me that the plates, to the spacers side, go against the frame lugs (not against the engine lugs), or not?.

Because the spacers are welded to the engine plates, they should only go on one way. The goal was to shift the engine to the timing side, and the transmission tight to the primary side. If you cannot determine the correct plate for each side, set them to shift the crank case toward the timing side. This arrangement would align the engine and transmission similarly to the AMC engine and transmission alignment.
