Hello
I am having a bit of bother with this N15 rear wheel, seems to that the distance between the forks is greater than the stack up of the bearings and distance pieces?

Anyone have the measurement for between the forks?
Seems like a lot to just tighten it down.
The inside measurement on these fork legs is 8 3/8".
Other swing arms I have are 7 3/4" (Ranger) and 7 7/8" (early Atlas, I think)

I have contacted Andover Norton for the measurements of the distance pieces for 03.0017 and 03.0018 to confirm those.

I believe 8-3/8" on the swing arm is about right. Same as my '67 G15CS. You may be missing a piece.

I looked through my assembly pics, but didn't take any of the rear wheel assembly. I seem to recall a spacer inside the brake backing plate.

Yes that could well affect the run of the chainline too.
Thats one aspect that can be eyeballed and seen to be reasonably accurate,
with the chain fitted...

Hello
Received the measurements 03.0017 = 43/64" or 0.671" and 03.0018 = 1 5/64" or 1.0781".
This still leaves 23/64" to be accounted for.
I will fit up and check rear sprocket to counter shaft sprocket alignment again, but will really need to install engine and plates and snug everything.

Hi.
Please, coul you post a picture of the bottom rear mudguard fixing brackets?
Thanks
Piero

Thank you so much.
Is very clear.

Just some closure information.
I messaged a owner on an ebay listing for a N15CS swingarm and his inside measurement from plate to plate was 8".
I assembled with correct distance pieces and tightened it up and it runs true, aligns with the front wheel and the secondary drive chain is aligned.
Not sure why it is sprung out??
