Inner Primary standoff installation

need some help with the inner primary standoff installation. This machine did not have the inner primary standoff installed when I received it. So I am not sure how this goes together.

There is a hole in the engine mount plate that is not threaded, there is a hole in the inner primary, however they do not line up. The standoff has to threaded ends, one longer than the other.
Which hole is used on the inner primary? I assume the lower one. See photo.

Which end of the standoff goes to the inner primary, I assume the shorter one.
This would leave the longer one to go through the engine mount plate and have a nut installed.

Am I correct?

Also the upper hole in the inner primary is for what? I figure the middle hole which has a grommet is used for the stator lead.
Correct?

Thanks

Hi.
It seems a N15/G15.
Upper hole is for to breath the primary.
The oher holes you know they are for stator wires and stud; the longer thread goes into the mounting engine plate, not threaded, use a nut.
Lower for inner.

There should be a copper "L" pipe thru that large upper hole under the cast lip that keeps most of the oil out of the breather pipe. You can always use a rubber hose thick enough to be a snug press fit, and route it upwards to keep residual oil flow going back into the primary.

The longer threaded end of the standoff is in order to fit up opposing adjuster lock nuts to properly space it so as to disallow inner primary case deflection AFTER first screwing the inner cover in place to the crankcase.

I received good advice that it is best to use (3) STUDS carefully set in the crankcase and loctited in place, then use nuts with locktabs or lockwashers, snugged so as not to disturb the studs.
