ARE ALL CENTERSTANDS THE SAME??

Hello All- I have a '68 Commando that needs a new centerstand. Are they the same stand for all years? Specifically, will this one I found on eBay work?

I have less than 24 hours to figure this out :)

Looks like a later cradle mounted stand. Your bike, assuming you have the original frame, would have a frame mounted center stand.
 
If your frame is actually a '68, the centre stand mounts on some tangs off a tube between the frame, not the cradle. I know RGM has them, maybe Burton Bits too. They seem to be more available now, probably Walridge has them too. That ebay stand looks like a later model to me.

Thanks guys- you are correct, I climbed under there and mine does indeed mount to a tube between the frame side tubes. Thanks!
 
Hi- well yesterday I picked up a nicely powdercoated early centerstand from my man Yoshi, at a very reasonable price. Hope to bolt it in this weekend! Thanks-
