1963 and earlier.
I have determined this schematic applies to my 1962 build Atlas 750 No. 102833, and I suppose it is applicable to 1963, or until the Zener diode in the charging system was introduced in 1964.
NOTE: there is a draftsman's error in the schematic, and my Atlas' wiring harness was built to INCLUDE this error.
Wire designated NP (on contact 3 of Lighting Switch) is technically incorrect, as it shares the contact with wire designated NW. Wires which share a common connection should share a common designation. Norton apparently corrected this error before introducing the 1964 Model, as the 1964 Wiring Schematic has the NP wire replaced by NW. Exactly when and what frame number this correction was made is unknown, or lost in the records.
The point of this Note is to alert those working on 1962 to late 1963 models that the NP wire may or may not be present.
