Why Norton should definitely continue to build the 961

61 on the outside but 17 on the inside when I have a CBR650 next to me at the traffic lights........

And yesterday's reasons to continue with the 961, while on my daily commute;
1. Flagged down by a couple of guys in a car to admire the bike.
2. A group of teenagers reckoned it was well sick which apparently is not a comment on the engine noises but a compliment on the appearance.
3. A meddle-aged guy who came to the house stood and stared at it for 10 minutes and it was the best bike he had ever seen.

So the idea that the design will only appeal to old fogeys who remember the glory years of motorcycling is not correct - the looks appeal to all from fans of classic machinery to the younger ones.

And I don't suppose anyone has seen the TV remote control have they? I checked the fridge, my car and my work lunch bag. You never lost them when they had a wire connecting them to the TV......

Geez Gojuu, have your balls even dropped yet!? :oops:

And back to the title of the thread: Why Norton should definitely continue to build the 961?

Because they are smokin‘ bloody hot, that’s why! Only appealing to old fossils like me’n’you, I don’t think so!

Long live Norton (and in particular the 961).
