Oil contaminated clutch plates

My Morini Camel 500 has a dry clutch which started slipping. The seal behind it has failed so now the bonded Surflex plates are oily. Can I clean and re-use them? if so what with please. Any suggestions?

Start with petrol and finish off with brake cleaner would be my choice.

For a great finish, use Johnson's baby powder if you can still get it, (I hear its been withdrawn ) or Fullers earth.
