Bad news indeed. I enjoy Yves contributions immensely, get well soon mate. Thinking of you and your family.

Hello everybody, thank you very much for your great support. Yves knows about it and I will pass on all your messages to him as soon as it will be feasible, most likely by the end of the week.

I have just received positive fresh news from the person who went to visit him this afternoon. His general condition was significantly better today than last night, he was conscious and talkative, he seems to have found back his legendary fighting spirit although his road to complete remission is likely to remain quite long.
He has undergone surgery on his foot last night and will probably be operated from the hip tomorrow.
I will continue to publish updates as I receive them.
Thank you so much, your wonderful words quite litterally means the world to Yves.

Bruno

I am very sad to hear this. A lot of guys stay away from road racing in the belief that it is dangerous. I rode bikes on public roads until I was 29, then I realised what I was doing and went road racing where the risks are controlled and minimised to a tolerable level. What really makes me angry are people who drive cars while operating their mobile phones. Even without the phones, a motorcyclist does not appear as a threat to a car driver, so almost becomes psychologically invisible. With the phones, it is so much worse.

Sorry to hear this news, although of course I'm pleased that there has been a slight improvement. I sincerely hope that you continue to improve Yves. Best wishes from Yorkshire. Reggie.

Laten we hopen dat alles weer goed komt .
Wanneer je hem ziet ,geef Yves een schouderklopje van mij ( Jan ) als het niet teveel pijn doet ..
En misschien een goede gelegenheid om te stoppen met roken ?

Hello Yves, hello all,
Isn't it a beautiful feeling in today's world that somone who had to face such serious missfortune receives wishes full of emotions for recovery from all arround the world? And this with all the nationalistic and racistic emotions we currently experience in all our so called developed countries?
Yes Yves, this community is with you on your and your wife's full recovery. We wish you that one day we all can enjoy again reading your experiences with your Seeley. All the best again to you and Marina from all of us.
